Ever since graduating in 2018 from MTI dental assisting program she has been working in pediatric dentistry and has loved it ever since! Brittany’s favorite part about being a pediatric dental assistant is seeing how patients progress at each visit She loves seeing little patients leave with big smiles! Brittany’s favorite things to do are hunting with her older brother and spending time with her family whether it be bingo night, concerts, or bonfires. She is eager to grow with Expedition Pediatric Dentistry!
Haley graduated from Vatterott College in 2015 and is certified in nitrous oxide. She has worked in pediatric dentistry from the beginning of her dental career—there’s no other area in the dental field that she’d rather be! Haley works with children of all ages, so her days are never boring and she’s always learning something new from the kids! She is a wonderful source of encouragement and motivation.
Haley spends most of her time having fun with her two nieces, nephew, and dog Acorn. She also enjoys baking and decorating desserts for special events.
Maria grew up in the Nixa area and has a passion for kids and pediatric Dentistry. In her free time, Maria enjoys all things artsy including painting and drawing. Maria is happily married to her husband Dylan and is a cat mom of three; Spooks, Skip and Scout.
Nikki graduated from Midwest Technical Institute in 2015 and went on to complete the DAANB Infection Control Exam, as well as her certification in nitrous oxide. She loves seeing children who were nervous about their first appointment leave feeling comfortable and excited to come back!
Nikki, her husband Justin, and their three daughters love trying new things. Music is a big part of their family, as well as valued time with family and friends.
Kyra graduated from MTI in 2022, she enjoys working in pediatric dentistry because it gives her an opportunity to educate the youth (and parents) on good oral health, and help them create good habits that will benefit them for a lifetime. In her off time, Kyra enjoys spending time with her family, and being a mom to her twin boys Marshal and Keagan. Her favorite part of working at Expedition is working for an amazing group of doctors who always have the best interest of the children in mind, and amazing coworkers who all work together to achieve the same goal of providing quality care to patients.
Davina brings over 20 years of dental experience with her to our team. She started in the dental industry as a dental assistant and soon after obtained her certification in Invisalign and nitrous oxide. Over the years of providing caring service to her patients, she then worked with the local Ronald McDonald Care Mobile, fondly known as the “Tooth Truck”. She worked for this community-based organization as an office manager. Also in the capacity of office manager, she went into private practice as office manager at another dental office.
Her passion is to strive to ensure that each child has a positive, happy dental experience while being educated on the importance of good oral hygiene to ensure their new, healthy smiles last. Her vast experience over the last two decades helps to make our office run smoothly and efficiently in bringing patients the care they need.
Davina and her husband have two beautiful and energetic girls. They enjoy what the Ozarks has to offer with each season from plenty of lake time to fall camping. We are excited Davina has joined our Expedition Team to further the expectation of excellent patient care for all of our little patients.
Lead Dental Assistant-Nixa/Republic
Britnie graduated MTI in March of 2020. After finishing up her externship for school in a Pediatric office she decided to try out the world of General Dentistry. Not long after working in General, Britnie decided that Pediatrics was more her passion and decided to join the Expedition team and add her unique personality to help kids through their fear of coming to the dentist. Britnie is married and has 3 kids that keep her very busy with sports and school events. In her down time Britnie loves spending time with her kids and husband going to the lake and being at home with all her animals on the farm.
Bree is a graduate of Midwest Technical Institute in Dental Assisting and has received her certification in nitrous oxide. After working in general dentistry, she realized her passion and skills would be put to good use in pediatric dentistry. Bree loves children and is a mom herself. She loves being part of a children’s dental practice where she can help kiddos have a positive and happy experience coming to their appointments! Her goal for all children is to show them that coming to the dentist isn’t scary at all and can be really fun!
Bree loves hiking and going on adventures with her two sons Landon and Lincoln and their fun-loving dog JJ. She spends her free time playing games and trying new restaurants.
Lead Dental Assistant-Springfield
Krista is a Missouri native. She has felt called to work with children ever since she can remember. From caring for family to working in childcare and now dentistry it is her passion for kids to feel safe, loved, and to be able to laugh while enjoying their visit. She loves to travel, read, and watch the sun from its rising to its setting. Krista treasures her faith and the people around her most of all, and enjoys spending downtime outside any way that she can.
Patient Care Coordinator
Lauren graduated from OTC as a dental assistant in 2021 with expanded functions and nitrous certification. She loves being a part of making a child’s dental experience better as well as helping parents as they navigate these new experiences!
She enjoys time with her husband, her dog named Boomer and cat named Leo. She is also a huge Arkansas Razorback fans! She spend her free time outdoors – hiking, camping, and, recently, disc golf!
Lacie finished her dental assisting program at MTI in 2021 and earned her certification in Nitrous Oxide. After completing her externship with our office she immediately accepted a dental assisting position. She enjoys using her patience to help kids of all ages overcome the fear of dental offices. In her free time she loves playing with her dog Keehlah as well as fishing when the weather is warm!
Katrina has been at Expedition for nearly a year. She has 4 years of dental assisting experience and is a Certified Dental Assistant. Katrina’s favorite thing about being a dental assistant is helping patients feel comfortable in what most people would consider an uncomfortable situation. Dental anxiety is real and if she can help her patients have a great experience, then that is a personal win!
Katrina she has two cats, Felix and Winnie. She enjoys drawing and painting. Antiquing is a fun past time, as well as dancing. She has done clogging and recreational ballet!
Ashton graduated from Everest College as a dental assistant in 2010. She pursued additional training, becoming an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant and certified in nitrous oxide. After working with patients on the clinical side, she became an instructor in dental assisting at a local college. Ashton loves helping parents get the best possible dental care for their children and seeing our patients with bright and healthy smiles!
Ashton lives on a small hobby farm with her husband Austin and their two girls and four boys. The family enjoys working outdoors with their animals and teaching the children the responsibility of caring for the farm.
